Soooo this was the last basketball game that I shot. To be quite honest I was very disgruntled at the beginning of this whole basketball experience/fiasco. Right after getting out of drill team practice which ended around 4:45 in the afternoon I received a call from a fellow photographer. Curious as to why there was panic in the tone of the fellow photographer's voice, I naturally asked what was wrong. I was then told, that there was no gear in the closet and that they had to shoot the game in like 15 minutes. Normally I would just kinda be like, well that's your problem you didn't get your stuff together (and then secretly help them later and make them feel like poop), however, at this particular game it wasn't just them who would be put between a rock and a hard place. It would be every photographer shooting after them, which included myself. Soooooooo, I continued to call most every photographer and harassed them asking them where all the gear was. In the end, all the gear made it to the game, however, it was quite the inconvenience.
Moving on to the actual photography aspect of this blog, I'm kinda just like mehhhh with the pictures that I took. I guess that's kinda because I really liked the pictures that I took at the prior basketball game. I had to use a 30D at this basketball game, and I didn't like it because the older camera's don't have as fast of an auto focus. That is really disappointing. Especially cause I feel like I missed quite a few good photo opportunities... BLEHHHH
