editing "media"

So today during class has really been the first day that I have begun to edit all of the club picture day footage. I started the last class period, but didn't get too far. As of right now, the whole period I have been going through all of the clips, and cutting them down. I'm trying to put together a picture in my head of the order I want the clips to go in and how I want the video to go together, but the picture is VERY fuzzy right now. Considering that this is my first true experience using Final Cut Express, I would say that it hasn't been too terribly bad. However, there is still a whole lot to learn. I haven't even gotten to the part of transitions or anything like that. I feel like the hardest part for me will be putting it together in a cohesive way that makes sense. Woodsies will be there to help though, and I'm really hoping that this "media" project will turn out to be an extremely good practice for the BIG 72 and the video competition and ATPI Winter Conference this year. Woodsies and I intend on winning that this year. Or at least not get last place...
