So these were my two favorite pictures that I took at the Texas High Band's annual Christmas concert. At first I wasn't too terribly excited about taking pictures of this assignment, but afterwards I was really glad that I did. On top of the photo opportunities, the music was great!! Getting to go and experience things that I never would have even thought of going to do is one of the things that I like the most about photography. Due to photography, I am so much more knowledgable of sports, plays, people in general, and things going on around the school!! Anyways, sorry I kinda got off task! The hardest thing about shooting this assignment was the fact that all the people in the band were sitting really close together and they were all facing towards the center. Therefore, it was extremely difficult to get faces in the pictures. I had to shoot through people and junk just so you could actually tell who the person is. I also wish that I had taken another lens with me because there were some times when I wanted to get some shots closer to the stage but couldn't because of my lens. However, I'm still glad that I brought the bigma so I just wish that I had brought 2!!! So the first picture that I took I really to enjoy, but I get the feeling that it is just really cliche!! I've seen this picture quite a bit, but I just can't help but like it. I like the second picture because the whole point of going to shoot this assignment was to get pictures of the students. While the first photo doesn't fulfill this, the second one does. I like it because it shows some emotion!!
