This picture was taken at the Water Balloon Palooza in the Texas High School practice field. This was the very fist assignment that I had ever been given, and I had ZERO experience besides attending the photography boot camp. This assignment was difficult for me to shoot because everything happened so fast. Another reason this assignment proved to be difficult to me was because everyone was huddled around in little groups. Due to this, it was very difficult to get photos of peoples' faces and reactions. However, I was very pleased with this image. I love the expression and the placement of the subject, particularly the way she is holding her hand. Another thing I like about this picture is the background. I like how the subject is in focus and that their are people out of focus behind her, although I do think that this picture could have been better if their had been more light on the subject's face.
